Minecraft mods

Minecraft mod maker AI: describe the mod, get Java sources for your loader

EnderDevelopment writes Minecraft mods in Java for Fabric, Quilt, Forge and NeoForge. Each project targets one loader and one Minecraft version. You get the sources, the loader metadata and the Gradle build files. The platform does not compile mods: you build the jar yourself with Gradle.

From idea to mod jar

  1. 01

    Name the loader and version

For example: a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21 that adds a block with a custom crafting recipe.

  2. 02

    Review the sources

The platform writes the mod classes, the resources and the build files for the loader you chose.

  3. 03

    Build with Gradle

Run ./gradlew build in the project. The mod jar appears in build/libs, ready for the mods folder.

Mod questions

Which mod loaders are supported?

Fabric, Quilt, Forge and NeoForge. Name the loader in your request, because each one has its own project layout and build plugin.

Does the platform build the mod jar?

No. Mods are delivered as sources and build files. You build them with ./gradlew build, and the jar appears in build/libs.

Do players need the mod on their client?

That depends on the mod. Check the requirements you wrote for it, and make sure the server uses the same loader and Minecraft version.
